PROPERTY FOR SALE – Special note about multiple cards
We have more than 80 different property postcards similar in theme to this one. They sell apartments, homes, or property in general — nearly always mailed from Hong Kong to HK residents, and mostly (but not all) for developments in the U.K., Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, or HK itself. Most are printed on both sides, usually with Hongkong Post pre-printed Circular Service postage in Chinese, English, or both. Many are somewhat larger than a standard postcard. Nearly all are Grade: 1.

Before, we listed these one by one, but they take a lot of space, so let us know if you are interested in this type of card, and roughly how many, or for what country. We will answer back, tell you by e-mail what we have by showing you the original listings. Price will depend on how many cards you order, but won’t be expensive. OK?

This is an unused ad card, 4″ x 8″ including a perforated coupon that can be used for $1 off on Sweet Potato, Breadfruit and Cassava Flour, but only through December 2012, so you’re too late. The card has suffered from some heavy handling since then. Grade: 3

Princess Changping (Hong Kong)
Five cards are available, an advertising postcard for a Cantonese drama for the 6th Chinese Drama Festival. Though these are the right size to be postcards, the reverse is entirely pre-printed with event details; they are not suitable for postal mailing as-is. They date from January 2007 and are as-new. Grades: 1

Journey to the West (Hong Kong)
Five of these January 2007 promotional cards are available. It’s a Cantonese drama. Though the reverse is almost fully pre-printed with event details, if one was really determined, one could send this through the mail as a postcard, since there’s a bit of empty space. Grades: 1

Zullen (Netherlands)
Regrets that our Dutch language facility is not strong enough to know what this is all about (Gelukkig valt er thuis ook nog genoeg te ontdekken.) but the card was mailed from Switzerland in 2002, with a holographic stamp, and would be perfect apart from a minor but visible crease vertically across the card. Grade: 3

If you read Chinese, you’ll know exactly what this is. (Of course!) Card was mailed in 2000 from Hong Kong, has three stamps including one triangular, and two fullly legible postmarks. Blue airmail sticker and white address label affixed. Minor postmark smudging on front. Grade: 2

San Francisco, Sing Fat Co.
Unused, really very old ad/trade card pubished by Pacific Novelty Co. If you Google this, you’ll see an impressive variety of similar cards with a wide range of possible dates and descriptions, ranging from 1870 (definitely not) to late 1920’s (probably not then, either). Most likely, +/- 100 years ago, and our card is cheaper than the others anyway. Grade: 2

Hong Kong Property and Banking ad cards (set of six) (PR China)
It really is very hard to know what to make of these. They come from PR China, not Hong Kong, and were issued in 2015 by China Post with pre-printed postage. The scan shows the fronts of five and reverse of one card. Now, the lead card in the scan–the one saying “HongKongHomes,” is not showing a picture of Hong Kong. Some cards have Hong Kong contact numbers; some have PR China numbers; and some have none at all. Very odd. We have six of these sets available, all unused. Grades: 1

From a pet shop, mailed in 2014 with stamp, postmark, and unusual (for a postcard) “Premium” airmail label with barcode. Grade: 1

Karnival Melaka (Malaysia)
Card of course from 1988 but mailed in 1990 with stamp and mostly legible postmark. Reverse has rapidly aged to a dark brown, unless it was printed that way, which we doubt. Grade: 2

Malaysia Post Office: Kiriman Lebih Cepat
These cards were issued in early 90s to instruct writers how to prepare mail correctly and get the letters there faster. Three are available. One is unused (Grade: 1, $2) and three were mailed, each with stamp and partly legible postmark. Two have some postmark smudge on front. Grades: 2 ($3.50)

Card published by the Malay Mail newspaper, mailed in 1991 with two Malaysian stamps, but no postmark at all. Two of the four edges are perforated. Grade: 2

What an appropriate name for this concert! Mailed card became creased in the process. It was mailed from Birmingham (UK) in 1986, with five stamps and legible postmark. It also has the original price written over on the reverse, and a blue airmail sticker. Grade: 4

A slightly different Grace Jones card, and as it says on the back, there’s no such thing as too many. At one time, she was our favourite artiste. Mailed in the UK in 1986, this card has five stamps and mostly legible postmark over a blue airmail sticker. Some creasing. Grade: 4

Unused (and clever) card from the Brazilian Government’s anti-AIDS health unit. The Portuguese legend on the reverse translates as “Always use condoms!” Grade: 1

On the front, a normal and very old scenic postcard. On the reverse, not postally used but the message area is taken up with a pre-printed advertisement for a men’s tailor, who “certainly have the good goods”. A child’s name is lightly pencilled into the address area. As for the photo, “Kakabeka Falls is a waterfall on the Kaministiquia River, located beside the village of Kakabeka Falls in the municipality of Oliver Paipoonge, Ontario, 30 km west of the city of Thunder Bay.” That’s from Wikipedia. Grade: 3
