    Mailed in 1967, this card has two perforated edges indicating that it was part of a linked series. Postmark is there but obscured by the caption, and the stamp is partly torn. But the front is OK, and the Arch was fairly new at that time.  Grade: 4

    Not just above Central Plaza (as the caption states) but above the Convention Centre and all of Wanchai.  This 5-1/8″ x 7″ card was mailed from Victoria Peak in 2008 and has a special Peak Post Office postmark, along with an embossed jellyfish stamp.  Grade: 2

    The printed caption only says “Night of Feast” but the card’s writer explains that this takes place on 1-3 July in honour of Rapallo’s Patron Saint.  Mailed in 2011 with two uncancelled stamps costing E1.6 — thereby almost covering the cost of the card.  Grade: 3

    What a card … the stamp on the front has a hologram (of course, with fireworks, and the year 1999) corresponding to this First Day of Issue postmark (1 November 1999).  Then, on the back, Australia Post’s “Postage pre-paid Australia for posting in Australia and delivery worldwide”.  Mailed in 2012–please note that.  There’s no postmark apart from the original First Day mark on the front.  The sender’s name and address are rubber-stamped on the reverse.  Grade: 2

    As we type this, Hong Kong has five of the world’s 21 tallest buildings, and Burj Khalifa in Dubai is almost exactly twice the height of the tallest one (ICC) in Hong Kong.  We look out the window at ICC and wonder, how could Dubai manage this?  But of course, they did!  Unused card.  Grade: 1
