Here’s a contemporary description of Cerro Lopez now, lifted from an online source:  “Cerro Lopez is Bariloche’s most famous alpine peak, visible from town, access is easy via public transportation, a good trail leads to a mountain hut at the base of the climb, and a climber’s trail continues to the summit ridge which offers fantastic views in all directions. Although it is a very touristic peak, a trip to Cerro Lopez is deservedly one of Bariloche’s classic mountain experiences.”  The card is much older, with stamp and postmark and a wonderful address yet the card was delivered anyway.  Grade: 1
