Wu Hua Lou, also known as Wuhua Tower, is a prominent landmark in Dali Ancient City, a five-story structure that was historically used for hosting VIPs and is now a popular tourist attraction. The current structure was rebuilt in 1998, but the original building dated back to the time of the Dali Kingdom.  This demonstrates once again that Yunnan’s “Ancient Cities” aren’t always so ancient.  The unused card is similar to other transparencies in our “Yunnan” and “Novelty” categories.  Grade: 1
