Hvar is a port and resort town. Yachts fill its harbor in summer. Ferries connect the town with the Pakleni Islands just offshore.  Hula Hula Beach in Hvar and Stipanska Beach on Marinkovac Island are known for their nightlife and lively bars.  One might not guess what Hvar became by looking at this unused postcard, but that’s progress.  The front of this card is essentially good; the reverse has a massive light blue stain in the bottom half, but there’s no captioning or attribution to disturb.  Grade: 4
