Kanazawa, Kenrokuen Garden in autumn, stone arch

We’ve a series of unused, contemporary cards from this old, private landscape garden, also spelled Kenroku-en–which, along with Kairaku-en and Koraku-en, are considered the “Three Great Gardens” of Japan. Kenrokuen itself translates as “Six Attributes Garden.” (You’ll need to dig further for more about that …) Grade: 1
