As it looked prior to 1962 when the card was mailed with two local “Kelantan” (the state in Malaya) stamps and a large Kota Bharu postmark.  You’ll notice that “Bahru” is spelled one way in the postmark and a different way on the card, and sometimes a third way (Baru) depending on … well, depending on what the writer feels like using.  They all mean the same thing in English:  “new”.  Grade: 1
