Liu Haisu (刘海粟)
Liu Haisu (Chinese: 刘海粟; 16 March 1896 – 7 August 1994) was a prominent twentieth-century Chinese painter and a noted art educator. He excelled in Chinese painting and oil painting. We cannot tell you as much as we would like about this hardcover folio (measuring 11-1/2″ x 8-3/4″ x 1/2″) because it is still sealed in its original clear wrapping. We did see a sample copy when we got it, through China Post, and it’s like most of our other folios: a mixture of postcards, mint stamps, and stamped covers. Perhaps you can find other details online. Grade: 1
