One of our favourite Albanian postcards, not because it is in good condition (it’s not) but because it oozes character and mystery.  Printed in 1977, it has a 1978 New Year’s greeting and had been mailed — the stamp is long gone.  Any overview of Tirana now, or even tomorrow, will look a lot different from this.  We can say this about any city’s scene, but we’re saying it here and now.  Grade: 5
