Bear with us while we tell you the story.  The club had an offer for its customers:  “Place Postage Stamp Here, or Leave at the bar or premium booth for free mailing”.  Conrad decided to take them up on that offer, and sent this card to a mushroom company asking for a free book of recipes.  The hotel obliged, with a postage meter, in 1959.  We hope he got his book.  Grade: 1
