Taipei, Rong Shing Gardens
It is extraordinarily unusual to enter a proper name into Google and get zero result. That’s what happened here. The card (mailed we think in the 1980s, with stamp and indistinct postmark) spells it as Rong Shing. More searching came up with this: “Rongxing Garden Park (traditional Chinese: 榮星花園公園; simplified Chinese: 荣星花园公园) (also called Rongxing Garden or Rongxing Park) is an urban park in Zhongshan District, built as a private garden by Koo family in 1968. … The park is the first European landscape garden in Taipei, which consists of flowers, wetlands, lotus ponds and children’s playground. It spans an area of 6.5 hectares.” Grade: 1
