It takes a surprising amount of effort to decipher all that’s in this single-sheet, multi-fold map of Tananarive.  Not that it’s in French, which is fine, but it is extraordinarily detailed and required a quiet spot in an outdoor cafe (had it not been bitterly cold outside) to interpret and plan.  From the Office National du Tourisme de Madagascar, dated September 1967.  Grade: 1
