What makes this unmailed E.C. Kropp card unusual has nothing to do with the ghoulish caption but instead that this card was the “cabinet sample” from either the manufacturer or the distributor showing the total quantity available in April 1942, and subsequent stock movement.  Tiny staple holes in the top attest to this.  So despite the lower grade, there’s some novelty value.  Grade: 4
