Bear with us, this will take several words to describe.  It’s a soft-cover booklet measuring about 4″ x 5-1/4″, undated but very old, published by Kelly & Walsh (of Shanghai, Hongkong, Singapore, and Yokohama) and Collotypes by K. Ogawa.  Entitled “A Christmas Carmen,” there are many B&W photos of old Shanghai interspersed with blank pages.  Facing pages are either in English only, or bilingual English and Chinese.  There’s a written gift inscription inside.  As an unusual combination of Christmas, history, opera, and China, this is a curiosity indeed.  Ungraded, but if it was a postcard we would probably give it Grade: 2
