Showing 761–800 of 1000 postcards

  • Feng Huang

Feng Huang is in Hunan Province and the writer nicely explains this (in English) in the message.  Mailed in 2014 with a stamp and clear red postmark.  Perforated edge means it came from a set.  Grade: 1

    Code: 20307753

    Price: $2.00

  • Ancient culture (Maximum Cards) (imperfect set of 6)

Sorry for this messy scan but we wanted you to see each card.  These are exactly as we got them from China Post.  Five of the six are OK, but the one you see on the lower right has a flawed stamp and no postmark.  Yet they let it go through.  Because of that, the whole set gets a highly reduced price.  Grade (because of that one card only): 4

    Code: 20307755

    Price: $6.00

Ancient culture (Maximum Cards) (imperfect set of 6)
  • China Screen: Tianzifang, Shanghai

We gave up trying to research this novelty card … when we tried to go to the manufacturer’s website, it crashed our computer.  And the card is as hard to describe as it was to scan.  Think of the coloured area as a two-section film strip, coloured; not like an old-style film negative, but real photos in celluloid.  Up close it might seem that each card has a unique photo(s), but we’re not sure about that either.  In any case it’s unused and very, very contemporary.  Grade: 1

    Code: 20307756

    Price: $4.00

    China Screen: Tianzifang, Shanghai
  • Shanghai National AAAA Tourist Attraction

Unused item.  It is an official Government (China Post) postcard with pre-printed postage on the side you don’t see — adjoining a QR Code if you are really curious.  “SUPEC” is the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center.  And it does look like it is or was worth RMB30 to get you into something.  Grade: 1

    Code: 20307757

    Price: $3.00

    Price: $11.00

Shanghai fold-out map of four attached cards

    Price: $5.00

    Temples (set of 2)
  • Fruits (II) (Maximum Cards) (set of four)

From China National Philatelic Corporation, this set MC-113 of four maximum cards, issued in 2016.  Our scan only had room for three of them, plus part of the fourth, and the fruits include apricot, grape, watermelon, and lychee.   If you really like fruit postcards, these should fill the bill nicely.  Unused.  Grade: 1

    Code: 20307764

    Price: $8.00

Fruits (II) (Maximum Cards) (set of four)
  • Shanghai Old Views (set of 20)

This is an unopened set measuring 5-1/8″ x 7-3/8″ of 20 postcards.  The scan shows you the back of the cardboard cover (still in unsealed plastic film) and therefore we suppose those are thumbnail views of the cards inside.  The front of the cover (not shown) is a larger composite view of the Bund and a coy lady, along with some Chinese and English text.  Keeping in mind that “old” in Shanghai means “yesterday,” we remind you these are new cards with old views.  Grade: 1

    Code: 20307765

    Price: $18.00

Shanghai Old Views (set of 20)
