    Five of these unused 5-3/4″ x 7-3/8″ advertising cards, issued through the Macau Post Office, are available.   And what are they advertising?  A new issue of stamps, of course.  Two of the five cards have an extra blue pseudo-postmark added to the reverse, at the post office ($6).  The other three lack this extra chop ($4).  Grades: 1

    First, we must remind you this is not a postcard nor is it a book of detachable postcards.  Published by the Macao Heritage Ambassadors Association, edited by Lei Kun Min and Tam Chi Kuong, and translated by Leong Hio Lam, this unpaginated softcover volume is in full colour and was published in 2012 as the followup to Volume I.  Only 1,000 copies were printed, and it’s in Chinese and English–somewhat unusually, not also in Portuguese.    Grade: 1

    Sometimes slightly inaccurately referred to as Leal Senado, this photo shows the iconic heart of urban Macau.  From personal experience, we can tell you:  there are never, ever this few people.  UNESCO World Heritage location.  Two cards are available.  One is unused (Grade: 1, $3).  The other was mailed in 2013, with stamp, postmark, and something written in Thai as a rubber-stamp marking (because the card went to Thailand) (Grade: 2, $6).
