Cats in Literature – folio (cover)
Please read this carefully: there may or may not be any postcards in this collection of stamps as described on the cover. We don’t know, because the item is in its original seal and we have not opened that. It measures 6-3/8″ x 8-3/4″ x 1/4″ and has several thick pages, which we assume to contain text and stamps. To repeat: it might not have any postcards at all. Grade: 1

Not unusually for China and Hong Kong, stamps and cards may be issued to illustrate the transition in the Chinese zodiac from one animal to another, and so it was done in PRC by China Post in 2012 with this set of two (unused) cards. Stadium
We can see this card came from the post office at Tiananmen Square, but, sorry, we don’t know which stadium this is. (It is identified in Chinese on the front.) The card has one perforated edge, and looks like a lottery card, so it may have been part of a set, or had a stub. Regardless, it was mailed in 2013 and has four stamps and two official postmarks alongside a bilingual red Par Avion chop and another large red 60th anniversary logo in the message area. Grade: 1

Tour in Southern China (boxed set)
In the scan, you see what this boxed set looks like from the outside. Slide off the blue sleeve and open the box, there is a softcover book whose cover is what appears in the front window of the box. The book is all in Chinese and has lots and lots of coupons for holiday and scenic destinations in Southern China. Not sure when these expired–probably the end of 2015–but there is (was?) website information and a QR Code. Behind the book are ten large, square postcards with stamps attached (not pre-printed), each postcard showing a Chinese scene, though not all of these are in the South. This entire production is unused and measures 7.5 ” x 7.5″ x 1″. Grade: 1
