If you’re into Holiday Inn postcards–and we know many people are–you can’t miss this one, mailed in 1988 from Kuching with three stamps (two specific to Sarawak), full Kuching postmark, and blue Mel Udara label. Grade: 2

Mamutik Island
What a beautiful place this was (is), and so close to a big city–Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The card was mailed in 1993. It has two stamps but has been knocked around a bit on the reverse and it also has a post office’s extra barcode label. Grade: 4

Mount Kinabalu
The card informs that Mt. Kinabalu is Malaysia’s first World Heritage site. Mailed in 2012, it has a stamp and blue Mel Udara label, but the postmark is not legible. There is the sender’s “chop” on the reverse. Grade: 3

Don’t confuse this unused 5″ x 7″ card with 20316931. They’re not the same, though both show variants of the carnivorous pitcher plants found on Mount Kinabalu in Sabah. Very nice, high-quality card. Grade: 1
