Inclusive Arts (set of 4)
This is a set of four cards issued by Hongkong Post as its “Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 49”. All four cards are different; the scan shows just one. One has special first-day-of-issue Inclusive Arts postmarks in the shape of an artist’s pallette (Grade: 1, $14). One has Hong Kong GPO first-day postmarks (Grade: 1, $12).

Ngong Ping Buddha and Wanchai Convention Centre, 3D card in frame
One unused card in a cardboard frame with a push-out stand on the back so it can sit on your desk like a framed photo. Scanning 3D cards clearly isn’t really possible, and here you can see elements of both photos through the lenticular printing. All this is still enclosed in the original plastic wrap, and we deleted the original price in the top corner of the scan. It’s still on the wrapper, though. Grade: 1
-

Hong Kong Vintage Posting Box by Chocolate Rain (set)
It is odd for Hongkong Post to issue something like this, but they did, so we will describe what we have. They are books of postcards, bound into a softcover sets of which you see the cover here. The whole thing measures 5-1/2″ x 9-1/2″ x about 1/4″ and is heavy. Of the 17 pages in each set, 16 are postcards (in the similar style as this photo) and one is a sort of introductory page of the same size, but not a postcard. Hope that’s clear. These are odd. Special postage rate will apply: please ask us. Grade: 1
-
Dinosaur (3D) (set of 6)
This is a set of six different 3D cards, printed on exceptionally heavy stock. What you see in the photo is one card, and one sample reverse: each card has pre-printed postage. We have several different sets. Two sets have the postmark you see in the scan (Grades: 1, US$34). Two sets have a different “GPO” postmark (Grades: 1, US$34). Two sets have no postmark (Grades: 1, US$29).
-
Hong Kong Police insignia being removed
Unused card dating from the handover of Hong Kong from Great Britain to China in 1997. Grade: 1
-
Wishing Tree in Tai Po
You will find older, bigger, or stranger cards than this 5-1/8″ x 7″ example, but you will never find one more colourful. Mailed in 2012 with “Lighthouse” stamp and postmark. The tree, by the way, is now dead — a victim of its own success. Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Disneyland (set of 3) (3D)
We waited a long time for these, and were not certain they would ever appear. It’s an (unused) set of three 3D cards (lenticular printing) showing stylised Hong Kong scenes. You already know that 3D cards don’t scan very well, but we show the fronts of all three, and the typical reverse of one. In the original packaging. Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Museums Collection, WU Guanzhong (set of 7)

But we did. Grade: 1

Kai Tak Airport, with ticket cover
Unused card issued by the MTR Corporation (Hong Kong’s mass transit railway) some time before 1998, which is when Kai Tak Airport closed. The area on the front is the sleeve for a souvenir ticket, which is not there now. Only because of that, Grade: 5

China Hong Kong SP062 (set of 32) – front cover
This is a set of 32 unused cards, in a cardboard cover. The individual cards as they are shown on the back of the cover appear in scan 20308616B. A few cards in the set are not of Hong Kong. Moreover, the cards do not have captions. This is just a quirky set mostly of Hong Kong but originating from mainland China. We have one other set of the same cards (we think), but the front cover graphic is of a Bruce Lee statue. Each of these sets: Grade: 1
-
China Hong Kong SP062 (set of 32) – back cover

Chinese Zodiac Bus (set of 12)
We don’t recall ever seeing these specially decorated busses on the road, but they must have been or they would not be on these cards. One bus for each animal in the zodiac, though as a reminder these are busses in Hong Kong and not on the mainland. Two of these sets of 12 are available. Grades: 1
-
Historical Postcard Collections of Hong Kong (set of 32)
Probably produced in the mid-to-late 1980s, this collection of unused cards includes a wide variety of urban scenes, including but not limited to: urban overviews of different districts, Repulse Bay, the Tsim Sha Tsui clock tower, Hong Kong University, Hong Kong Government Football Stadium, Shatin Race Course, and many more. Because the views are often not very touristic, postcards like these are very hard to come by. Trust us on that. Grade: 1
-
Historical Postcard Collections of Hong Kong – Hong Kong Culture – Vol. 10 (set of 28)
We show you the front and back of an older set that contains 28 cards, including a variety of buildings and urban and rural scenes. These include but are not limited to Aberdeen Country Park, Po Leung Kuk, the Railway Museum at Tai Po Hui, Hong Kong Stadium, a statue of a horse at the Jockey Club in Happy Valley, and many more. If you are looking for a single card of any specific scene in that set, we have a few singles — just ask. For the complete set, Grade: 2
