Hong Kong Disneyland 10th Anniversary (foil) (Set of 5)
We can show you two fronts and one reverse of the five foil-backed cards in this sealed set, original packaging. Issued for Hong Kong Disneyland’s 10th Anniversary, they show teams from Pixar, Winnie the Pooh, Mr. Potato Head, and so on. Grade: 1
-
Architecture (Set of 6)
Each item in the set (Hong Kong Government’s “Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 54”) has a different postage denomination, and they all fold out in the way you can see. The back of each item looks like a postcard, with pre-printed postage postmarked on the first day of issue (31 March 2016), but it is stretching things to call these “postcards”. Regardless, we have this one set available, unused. Those black areas are just to remove some glare from the scan. No deep meaning! Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Disneyland (Set of 3)
Each card is individually wrapped and then all connected at the top as you see in the scan — two of the three cards. The third card is of Goofy pulling a rickshaw with Mickey and Minnie in it, along “Hollywood Road”. Unused, unopened. Grade: 1
-
A Tribute to Teachers (Maximum Cards) (Set of 4)
Could there be a nicer gift for your postcard-or-stamp-collecting teacher? Better than an apple! From 2016, two sets of these unused cards are available. Grades: 1
-
2016 FIA Formula E Hong Kong ePrix (Set of 4)
An unused set of four cards (Postage Prepaid Postcard Series No. 26), issued in 2016, with coloured pre-printed postage and each card postmarked with a special philatelic “chop”. Grade: 1
-
1906 typhoon (Set of 9)
A set of nine unused B&W modern cards issued by the Hong Kong Maritime Museum and commemorating a disastrous typhoon in 1906. The bilingual captions don’t seem to want to reveal the exact date but it’s very easy to deduce that. Our scan shows four of the cards. Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Museums Collection – Pencil Drawings by Mr. KONG Kai-ming (Set of 6)
A set of six unused cards in their original wrap. This is the Hong Kong Government’s “Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 55” with pre-printed stamps, and–in this case–those stamps have been cancelled with special philatelic postmarks. Grade: 1
-
Ocean Park (Set of 3)
This set of three unused cards is still sealed in its original wrap, so we show you the back, which has thumbnail photos of the cards inside. We excised the original price, though. (Side note: how many postcards are sold these days with legal warnings telling of a choking hazard for children under 3 years due to “sharp edges”?) Gosh … and just as odd, we were just over there and they no longer sell postcards of the Park itself. That seems strange. Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Disneyland, irregular shapes (Set of 5)
An attractive set of five sturdy (unused) cards. The scan shows you how the bundle looks from the front, and also from the back, with thumbnail views of each of the five cards. Yes, that’s the original price tag in HK$, from which we removed the number so as not to mislead you. Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Disneyland Spring Fiesta 2017 (set of 4 + sticker)
By definition, a limited edition. This is a set of four unused cards, and a separate sheet of the same size inside that is called a sticker though it looks more like a piece of paper to us. The scan shows you one card; the other three are of a similar theme/design. These are encircled by a thin cellowrap, and on the back of that there’s a design of the contents along with the original price tag covered by a bit of blue Disneyland tape showing that all this was paid for and not stolen. (This is how it works now that Hong Kong no longer offers free plastic bags.) Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Disneyland 12th Anniversary (Set of 4)
We’re always watching for unique items from our local Disneyland, which becomes even more of a challenge with no Disney stores in town. But here’s something not to be repeated: a 12th Anniversary set of four postcards plus one sticker. Our scan shows you the front and back of this poly-wrapped set, and tape on the back is from the source. We’ve edited out the retail price from the other sticker. From 2017. Grade: 1
-
Paintings and Calligraphy of Professor Jao Tsung-i (Set of 7)
Our scan only shows the first of seven cards in this (unused) set, because it’s still in the original cellowrap and we’ve not opened it. But we have seen the other cards elsewhere, and they are, as the title suggests, paintings and calligraphy in this vein. This is Hong Kong Government’s Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 56, with pre-printed worldwide airmail postage. Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Museums Collection: Bamboo Carvings (Set of 6) – box
This is a set of six cards, in a very sturdy cardboard box that almost feels like wood. Our scan shows the front of the box; see 20308789B for sample cards. It’s Hongkong Post’s “Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 57,” and each card has pre-printed, coloured, global postage and a special first-day-of-issue (14 November 2017) postmark. Our other scan shows you the examples of how one front and one reverse look, but of course all six cards are different within a similar theme. Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Museums Collection: Bamboo Carvings (Set of 6)
See 20308789A.
-
Stella Lou (Hong Kong Disneyland) (Set of 3) – front cover
This scan shows you the front cover of an unopened (and therefore unused) set of three cards, two of which might be irregular shapes. Original price and sales stickers are on the back, and you can see those plus what we assume are the cards in our scan 20308790B. Grade: 1
-
Stella Lou (Hong Kong Disneyland) (Set of 3) – back cover
See description for 20308790A.
-
Duffy (Hong Kong Disneyland) (3D) (Set of 3)
This scan shows you the front cover of an unopened (unused) set of three cards, described on the reverse cover as Lenticular. Original price and sales stickers are on the back, and you can see those plus what we assume are the cards in our scan 20308791B. Grade: 1
-
Duffy (Hong Kong Disneyland) (3D) (Set of 3) – reverse cover
See our entry 2030871A.
-
Hong Kong by Night II (Set of 4)
This is a set of four unused cards issued by Hongkong Post in 2018, each with pre-printed colour postage and a special philatelic postmark. It is Hong Kong’s Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 58. Our scan shows three of the four cards; the fourth is a time-lapse view of Central District. In the original wrap. Grades: 1
-
Hong Kong Disneyland 13th Anniversary Set (Set of 4 + stickers)
Have a look at our entry for item 20308740 (12th Anniversary), and this is the same concept: official set of four postcards and one sheet of stickers for the 13th anniversary. Our scan shows front and back of the cardboard cover (including thumbnails of each card and the sticker sheet). The green tape was placed at point of purchase, and again, we edited out the original price. Grade: 1
-
Characters in Jin Yong’s Novels (Set of 7)
First, who is Jin Yong? Let Wikipedia describe in this adoring tribute (condensed): “Louis Cha Jing-yong (查良鏞; 6 February 1924 – 30 October 2018), better known by his pen name Jin Yong (金庸), was a Chinese wuxia (“martial arts and chivalry”) novelist and essayist who co-founded Hong Kong daily newspaper Ming Pao in 1959. He was Hong Kong’s most famous writer. His wuxia novels written between 1955 and 1972 earned him a reputation as one of the greatest and most popular wuxia writers ever. According to The Oxford Guide to Contemporary World Literature, Jin Yong’s novels are considered to be of very high quality and are able to appeal to both highbrow and lowbrow tastes.”
We offer a set of seven unused cards from Hongkong Post’s Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 59, each with pre-printed postage, and a special first day of issue cancellation. Our scan shows the front and back of sample cards. Grade: 1
-
Stand with Hong Kong (Set of 4)
Refer to entry 20308821C as to why the photo looks like this. The white strip in the middle is a paper sleeve that keeps the four cards together. By now you may be wondering why most of this type of card are relatively expensive. They typically weren’t free at the source. Vendors “requested” extra payment to help fund their activities. Reminder, if you want to see full photos, ask us. Unused. Grade: 1
-
Old Master Q (Set of 8)
Our scan shows the front and the back of a sample card from this set, Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 60 from Hongkong Post. (We’ve just edited out the original selling price.) Note that these cards were printed with global airmail postage, but for the two sets we have available, one is postmarked with a GPO cancellation and the other with a special philatelic cancellation. So let us know which set(s) you want. Google will tell you a lot about Old Master Q! Grades: 1
-
Lion Rock (Set of 2)
Here are two cards, not exactly postcards because there is no place to write a message. Each card measures 6/1-2″ x 3-1/4″ and the reverse of one is the front of the other. They work together as a set. While not overtly political, anyone who lives in Hong Kong and who reads between the lines will know the references perfectly well. Grade: 1
-
A Wa.. against the W.. (Set of 5)
The scan will give you the best possible idea we can give you of these five unused cards, still in their original wrap. Hong Kong’s considerable artistic talents had been put to extensive use. Grade: 1
-
2020 (Set of 5)
From our series of cards emerging from events that started in mid-2019, this set of five unused postcards is still in its original wrap. If you want to see anything uncensored, just ask. Grade: 1
-
Set of 13
We couldn’t think of an acceptable name for this set of 13 unused cards, because its official name would probably not last very long. Our scan shows two of the 13, and others are variations on the theme. This set, while more expensive, covers 2019 events comprehensively. Grade: 1
-
Average Guy (Set of 5)
The set of five unused cards may each be “Just a Postcard” (as they self-describe) but the artwork is impressive and the sentiments clear. Grade: 1
-
Negative Image (first set of 4)
This is the first of three different sets of four unused cards each, and we call them “negative image” because they are like what you saw through a filmstrip of negatives back in the days before digital photos. We can give you a discount if you want more than one of the sets. Grades: 1
-
Negative Image (second set of 4)
Please see our description for item 20308844C. This is the second of three sets. Grade: 1
-
Negative Image (third set of 4 cards each)
Please see our description for item 20308844C*. This is the third set of four cards. Grade: 1
-
Perry H (Set of 6)
Similar in spirit to other sets like this, with photographs of clarity and impact. A couple of these particularly resonate with us because we were nearby at the time. Unused. Grade: 1
-
C. Leung (Set of 4)
These unused cards in a set of four tell a story, and while we didn’t quite catch what it was, they were in hot demand at the stall where we found them. Cats of this world, unite! Remember, if you want to see full scans, ask us and we can e-mail them to you. Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Museums Collection, Selection from the Chih Lo Lou Collection (Set of 6)
We’re showing you the front of one card and the back of another from this set of six, all in the original wrap. With pre-printed postage, they have special philatelic postmarks. This is Hongkong Post’s Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 61 issued in 2020. Grade: 1
-
Ocean Park (Maximum Cards) (Set of 6)
A set of six maximum cards, issued by Hongkong Post in August 2020, with philatelic postmarks. The animals include the King Penguin, Giant Panda, Meerkat, Sichuan Golden Snub-nosed Monkey, Toco Toucan, and Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin. All at that time to be found in one of Hong Kong’s two big theme parks, both of which had struggled mightily during the pandemic. Grades: 1
-
Hong Kong Past & Present Series: Victoria Harbour (3D) (Set of 4)
Issued in 2020, Hongkong Post’s Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 62, a set of four 3D (lenticular printing) cards whose views show Victoria Harbour past and present, depending on the perspective. These unused cards are very heavy, brilliant, and a gem for any collection. Our scan shows the front — blurry because 3D doesn’t scan well — and typical reverse showing prepaid postage. Limited quantities of two types of set are available: without any stamp cancellation (Grades: 1, $33) and with special cancellation (Grades: 1, $36).
-
Hong Kong Disneyland – The Kindest One of All (Set of 6)

Bruce Lee’s Legacy (Set of 7)
We offer a set of seven cards, formally called (by Hongkong Post) “Bruce Lee’s Legacy in the World of Martial Arts”. They are the Post Office’s Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 64, and therefore have pre-printed postage good for mailing anywhere. Our scan shows you two of the seven cards in each set. One set has no cancellation of the printed postage (Grade: 1, $20). Another set has a special Bruce Lee postmark (Grade: 1, $24).
