Disneyland, Happiest Place on Earth (set of 12) – reverse
First, please see what we wrote about item 20308923A. This is the back of the “book” and shows thumbnails of the 12 cards. We’ve left the original price sticker on, but deleted their price so as not to confuse anyone. Grade: 1

Feel 100% (set of 8)
“Feel 100%” is an original comic created by artist Lau Wan-kit. The story, set in Hong Kong, depicts an intricate metropolitan love story. It won the Gold Award at the Second International Manga Award organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan in 2008, and then in 2021, Hongkong Post further recognised this effort with Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 67, a set of eight cards with coloured, pre-printed airmail postage on the reverses. The set is in its original Cello-wrap, and the cards have special Philatelic postmarks. Grade: 1

We are taking a chance by listing this 6″ x 8-1/4″ unused card, but without any comment. Grade: 1

Movie Scenic Locations in Hong Kong (set of 4)
Our scan shows you the front of one card and the back of another, from the set of four Hong Kong Post “Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 68”. That’s Jumbo floating restaurant, which we had hoped would reopen eventually but it sailed away and “capsized”. The other three cards show Two International Finance Centre, the “Monster Building” (in a residential area), and Kau U Fong, once an obscure residential lane. Each of these locations featured in a film during the past few years; and, no, we have no idea why Santa Claus is prominent on each card apart from their having been issued in December 2021. Three unused sets are available: two sets have special postmarks while one set has none. Each set: Grade: 1

Coolies in Chinese Raincoats
This ancient and unused card from Turco-Egyptian Tobacco Store is an iconic representative of that sub-class of original Hong Kong postcards highlighting what some foreigners thought other foreigners should see. For the record, we don’t see raincoats like this here any more. Or any raincoats at all: it’s usually too hot and steamy to wear them. Grade: 1

Museum (A)
We refer back to some earlier postcards in our “Hong Kong” category, and want to advise that we are doing our best to be very careful about what we display. Unfortunately that means you will need to do your own research about this and the few cards to follow in this sequence. Not for sale to residents of Hong Kong or PR China. Grade: 1

-
Hong Kong Olympic Team 1996 – four sports
It just seems best that we reproduce the entire caption since it applies to the next few cards in this sequence also. Here goes: “First day of issue: 29 October 1996. Official Souvenir Postcard issued by the Amateur Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong to congratulate the outstanding achievements of the Hong Kong Olympic Team at the Centennial Olympic Games, 1996.” (That’s also in Chinese.) Unused, and note that cards in this sequence do *not* have preprinted postage. Grade: 1

Symphony of Lights
A nightly laser show for tourists, on display in this unused 5-1/8″ x 7″ postcard that we like so much that for awhile we made it the lead image on our home page. It was just a bit dark for that. Grade: 1
-
Multiple Views (292)
Unused 5-1/8″ x 7″ card. Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong – large letter
The 21st-century version of a 20th-century iconic postcard format, the “large letter”. It’s an unused, 5-1/8″ x 7″ postcard with Victoria Harbour and skyline views. Grade: 1
-
Six Views (238)
A somewhat busy, unused, 5-1/8″ x 7″ card. Grade: 1
-
Madame Tussauds
Not all that easy to get, we had to go up to Victoria Peak, to the Madame Tussauds souvenir shop, and these unused cards were sort of tucked away. Considering we were the only people anywhere around due to the pandemic shutdown, it’s a minor miracle the shop was open at all. Grades: 1
-
Hong Kong Disneyland – The Most Magical Show
The item contains a round sticker of Mickey, and a postcard, each in its own original Cello-wrap. The left part of our scan shows what it looks like when the sticker (not stuck!) lays over the postcard. The right part of the scan is what it looks like if we flip the sticker up so you can see the (unused) card. That blank white circle is just the back of the sticker as flipped — it’s not a flaw. The postcard does specify HK Disneyland on the back. Grade: 1

Hong Kong Disneyland – Castle of Magical Dreams (set of 13)
To be precise, “13 Royal Fairytales and Postcards,” which we want to assume means at least 13 postcards in this set — but it is in its original Cello-wrap and we have not opened that. Evidence is in our scan: on the left, the front of the pack. On the right, most of the back (showing those cards?) but with original pricing cut off at the bottom so as not to confuse you. This set is unique to Hong Kong Disneyland, and without free-standing shops here, you need to go there to get the cards. Grade: 1
-
Hong Kong Palace Museum (set of 8)
Issued in 2022 as “Postage Prepaid Picture Card Series No. 69”, these unused cards have coloured airmail postage printed. The set is undisturbed in its original plastic wrap (Grade: 1, $22). Then we have one more set where each card has a special philatelic postmark (Grade: 1, $24).
