Trading junk off Port Klang
This Airfoto card is the type one normally associates with China or Hong Kong, but here it is in Malaysia. Card was mailed in 1986. The stamp is there but the postmark is incomplete and not legible. Fingerprint smudges on reverse. Grade: 3

Lost Idols of Sarawak
Here’s an international card for you: produced by Sarawak Tourism Board (Malaysian Borneo), then mailed to Hong Kong from The Netherlands with two different stamps and Priority label affixed. Just what a postcard should be. Only because it does not come from country of origin, Grade: 3.

Greetings from Malaysia
The multiple views are all in Kuala Lumpur but the card was mailed in Perak with stamp and very large postmarks on reverse and front (which, for this card only, we don’t consider to be a flaw). The writer may not have been familiar with postcards as he put his own address where the recipient’s should have gone, so someone in the post office (?) drew a big red arrow to guide the postman. Altogether, this card, Grade: 2

S.W. Singapore card ML6024. Two are available, each having one stamp. One of these cards is creased and has only part of the postmark (Grade: 3, $2) but the other just has minor corner abrasions and a full postmark (Grade: 2, $3.50).

Two of these S.W. Singapore cards (ML6026) are available. Both were mailed in 1991, but one is not postmarked and has a stain on the reverse (Grade: 4, $1) while the other does have the full postmark but also slight staining front and back (Grade: 3, $2.50).
