Two cards from the 1980s are available. One is unused (Grade: 2, $2.50) and the other was mailed in 1984 with three different stamps, partly legible postmark, and bi-lingual blue airmail sticker–plus a fair bit of postal battering (Grade: 3, $4).

Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Hotel
Seven of these cards are available. There are many other cards with very similar photos but these seven are all the same, from the early 1980s when the hotel was (obviously) still operating under the Hilton name. Four are unused. Of these four, two are Grade: 1 ($3) and two are Grade: 2 ($2.50). Two others were mailed in 1982, each with multiple stamps, indistinct postmarks, and some postmark smudging on the fronts (Grades: 2, $4). The last was mailed in 1980 with two stamps and modest corner bumping (Grade: 2, $4).

Genting Highlands, Chin Swee Caves Temple
This unused card is a little bit dirty on the reverse but the front is excellent. Grade: 2

Kuala Lumpur, Hotel Merlin
Mailed in 1991 with Selangor stamp and partial postmark, with orange bar coding on bottom reverse. The hotel used to have a roaring Lobby Bar. Those were the days. Grade: 2

Nicely eclectic card from Visit Malaysia Year 1990, mailed in 1991 with a commemorative wasp stamp. Completely full postmark. Grade: 1

Visit Terengganu
Five cards are available, all sent by the same person in 1991. Each has a stamp (variously located on each card) and three of the five have postmarks (Grades: 2, $6.50). The other two have no postmarks (Grades: 4, $3.50). Note that each has some white correcting fluid at the bottom of the message area.

Kuala Lumpur, Bangunan Tabung Haji
We have 25 of these cards. Why? Because we used to live in one of these buildings, known as Desa Kudalari. Twenty-two of these cards have been mailed and are in various conditions, so if you want one (or more) we will just start with the best and work down; or, as you like it. Grades: 1-4. None higher than $3. Three are unused (Grades: 1, $3).

The gasing is a heavy, spinning top that needs to be scooped atop a paddle. It takes some skill and is a Malaysian tradition. Grade: 1

A wau is a kite, and a magnificent kite at that. Card was mailed with a commemorative stamp, but no legible postmark. Grade: 2

Mailed in 1990, with Perak stamp (appropriate for Ipoh) and a mostly legible postmark. Grade: 1

Balancing a huge flag
Two cards are available, each mailed in 1991 with a single stamp. One has a full Kuantan postmark and significant ink smudging on the front (Grade: 3, $3.00) while the other has a faint postmark and clean front (Grade: 2, $3.50).

Bukit Jenun, Express Langkawi
Cards were issued by KTM (Malayan Railway) and three were sent by the same person in 1990. They each have a Federal Territory stamp and partial postmark, and some ink smudging on the front; and two of the three have the orange bar coding on reverse. Grades: 3
