Other than looking like someone sat on it, this unused card, probably from 1971, is OK. Grade: 2
-
Prague, bridges
Sturdy card mailed in 2001, with very minor edge bumping, a Czech stamp and partly legible postmark. Grade: 2
-
Radio Praha QSL
Where to start … it’s a proper postcard, hand-signed and with reception details typed in. There are two Czechoslovakian stamps, full Prague postmark, red bilingual par avion rubber stamp, and another rubber stamp commemmorating 35 years of Czechoslovak Foreign Broadcasting (1936-1971). From 1971, a very nice addition to any QSL collection. Grade: 1

-
Moravsky kras
The sender of this card became over-enthusiastic with stamps. Including those you see on the front, there are altogether 21 stamps on both sides, along with a Prioritaire blue sticker. Frankly we do not know how to grade this card, so we will just say Grade: 4.
-
Nymburk goticky
All we know about Nymburk is that it’s a district in the Czech Republic. We tried to Google this but everything comes back in Czech, which unfortunately we don’t read or speak. The card itself? Well, the front is in great shape but the reverse is fully written with a message only–no stamp, as it was sent in an envelope. Grade: 4
-
Train
Terrific card mailed in 2011 with two stamps, full postmark, and blue Prioritaire sticker affixed. The only problem is that the extensive caption is only in Czech. This is, of course, not a problem if you speak Czech or collect cards of trains. Grade: 1
-
Prague, The Archbishop’s Palace
Though the photo on the card is conventional, the message is revealing and poignant. Mailed in 1947 from Pilzen, there are two stamps and a fully readable postmark. We wonder whether Miss Fullerton and her family caught the full import of the message. Grade: 2

We suspect there’s a big back-story to this card from the Valassko Region. How busy it is–if only we could read Czech. Well, there’s always Google Translation service. Mailed in 2011 with stamp, postmark and blue Prioritaire. Grade: 2

If you want an adventure, (1) Don’t speak Czech, and (2) try learning about this riding hall through a Google search. Finally, we gave up. But the card is nice, has a huge stamp, a special postmark from that place, and another special rubber stamp besides. Address and Prioritaire labels affixed. Grade: 3

This is a domestic card with extensive captioning in Czech, including this: Navštivte Muzeum čs. opevnění 1938 – Klášter II, which means something like: Visit the Museum MS. fortification 1938 – Abbey II. The writer of the message on the card (mailed in 2012, two stamps, partial postmark) tried to explain everything, and probably did, if we have the patience. Grade: 1
