Google Translate helps only marginally when it says this means “Do not stress you only!” but we get the idea. Card was mailed with a stamp that did not get postmarked. Grade: 4
-

Google says this means “Just depend,” and if you can help us improve the translation, we’ll be grateful. Card mailed in 2013 with stamp, postmark, and trilingual Priority. Grade: 1

-
Elmshorn Industriemuseum
All printed captioning on this card is in German, and some of that obscured by the Priority label (and there are two stamps, and postmark), but we see this is probably an exhibit of toys or models? Mailed in 2013. Grade: 2
-
Bremen, Hansestadt
This card was mailed in 2013 with two stamps, partial postmark, Priority label, and orange postal barcoding. The extensive caption is entirely in German and explains everything, but the writer kindly did that in English also. These are the town musicians of Bremen! Grade: 2
-
Cologne, aerial view of Cathedral and Rhine
Mailed in 2013, with stamp, postmark, and orange postal barcoding. Pretty much a generic postcard of a cathedral–but it might be the one you’re looking for. Captioned in three languages. Grade: 1

-
Nordkuste Bei Portskerra, Highlands (Scotland)
“Why Germany?” you ask. Good question. We know the scene is in Scotland but the card is German-made, German-captioned, for a German consumer, and mailed from Germany with stamp, postmark, and Luftpost. It also has address label and message on stickers, so all in all is not very attractive–but who knows, maybe it is just what you wanted. It’s cheap. Grade: 5
-
Regensburg
Panorama of the historical center at the riverside. Mailed in 2013 with stamp and postmark. Grade: 2

Brotzeit is de scheenste Zeit
Google Translate, usually not bad with major languages, completely collapsed with this German entry. Luckily, the card’s sender offered “Light meal is the fairest time.” Light meal, indeed! Mailed in 2013 with seven stamps (six are the same, four of those uncancelled) and postmark. Grade: 2
-
Hoarfrost on Autumn Leaves
Mailed in 2013, with stamp and postmark. We think this came out of a classy set. Grade: 2

ALKOHOL? Kenn dein Limit
Despite the fun they seem to be having (if you don’t speak German), Google translates the text as: “Alcohol? Characteristic your limit. Alcohol makes more damage than you think.” The translation might not be perfect, but the point is made on this ad card mailed in 2013 with coloured meter label. The card is significantly creased. Grade: 1
-
Detmold
The clear postmark, which totally overlaps the stamp, reads 27.7.10.6-7, so the card was mailed in either 1927 or 1910. We should know these things by now. Grade: 2

Mailed in 1912 with stamp and three postmarks, and some crunching on lower right front. Grade: 4

-
Kiel und die Kieler Forde
We do not know the reason why this card, which is clearly a postcard, has such irregular edges or that circular notch at the top. The whole thing measures about 5″ x 7″ and our best guess is that it was cut from a postcard book. In any event it was mailed in 2013 with three stamps, and postmark, and the location was the site of 1936 and 1972 Olympics. Grade: 4
