  • Panorama TopCard – lighthouses

More of an extended postcard than a greeting card, nevertheless it is folded in thirds (made that way) and opens to reveal the 12 lighthouses you see in the scan.  When folded, the reverse acts as a postcard and was mailed in 2012 with stamp and most of the postmark.  Please do note that this is not a conventional postcard–just think of it as a very long one, that folds in thirds.  Grade: 2

Nice, small-town Dutch card with a twist:  it was mailed in South Africa, with what is supposed to be a 3D “International Airmail Postcard” stamp, but to be honest apart from odd colours we find nothing 3D about it.  Blue airmail label is there, along with a postmark.  Grade: 3

  • Zullen we gaan barbequen..??

It always amazes us how a 5-7/8″ x 8-1/4″ postcard can survive being mailed anywhere.  Yet apart from very minor postal bumping, here it is–and in good condition, too.  Mailed in 2012 with two stamps and postmark, ready to warm you up.  By the way, in Dutch this says “Shall we BBQ?”  Grade: 2
