City
We have no idea what city this is. The reverse of this postcard-sized photo is blank. With nothing to go on, we call it Grade: 5

City
We don’t know what city this is, or even if it is the entire postcard. On the heavily aged, unused reverse, it looks like this may be half of a panoramic card. The front doesn’t suggest so. Either way, the only caption is “No. 103, A.C. Dietsche, Detroit, Mich. and Frankfort, Germany,” with additional reference number 201490. We’re guessing this is not Detroit. Grade: 5

In the Harbour
Being honest, we have no idea where this view was. The card comes from Bamforth & Co., of Holmfirth & New York. Bamforth was (is) a famous publisher, better known for comic and saucy cards in the U.K.; the only clue here is their reference #2107. And this one was mailed in the U.S. in 1908 — stamp and postmark are still there. We’ve run out of energy here. Grade: 2

Fountain in Italy or Malta
This very old, undivided back card has no identifying caption. Printed on the top of the revrse, it says “Cartolina Postale Italiana (Carte Postale D’Italie)” but then there is a purple rubber-stamp chop in the message area with the name and address of a person or a retailer in Valetta, Malta. If you recognise this fountain, could you let us know? Grade: 4
