Unused card from 1967, and one of the first cards we ever bought from outside North America. But we rarely add to the cost just for sentimental value! Aging reverse, but fine shape overall. Grade: 2

Flower decoration
Very, very colourful card showing all manner of blooms, something we can only imagine seeing in real life. It is unused and dates from the 1960s, with serrated edges and an applique saying “Greetings from Holland” on the front, originally containing “real scent of hyacinths.” We’ve not peeled that off to see if any scent remains. Grade: 2

This card was to be mailed from Delft to Hong Kong, and it was, with stamp and postmark; but it made an unscheduled diversion to Cairo where it received another full (and legible) postmark.
