The front of this card is fine, as you see. We’re not sure what’s happening on the reverse. There is a silver-ish strip along the bottom edge that may or may not have been part of the original card, which was mailed in 2014 with stamp and full postmark. Only because we don’t know, Grade: 4

Marken – Binnenhuis
We can say the postcard is “unused” but it is also the most heavily aged example in our entire inventory: it has become a creamed coffee-coloured brown on the reverse. Or even more than that. Somehow, the front is still visible. Grade: 4

The “Escalier d’honneur” pictured on this unused, highly aged and heavily handled old and somewhat stained postcard. Still, the card is undeniably authentic. Grade: 4

Den Haag, Vredespaleis
Known in English as The Peace Palace, an international law administrative building in The Hague. It houses the International Court of Justice, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, The Hague Academy of International Law and the Peace Palace Library. This unused old real-photo postcard is slightly aged on the front, but the reverse has four significant areas where it had been (likely) pasted into an album. Grade: 4

Unlike many red light districts (including the one we live in), Amsterdam really has red lights. We’ve read the City Government plans to do away with sights like these. That would be a shame: what will they do for postcards? Unused. Grade: 1
