Fort William (ON), Kakabeka Falls
On the front, a normal and very old scenic postcard. On the reverse, not postally used but the message area is taken up with a pre-printed advertisement for a men’s tailor, who “certainly have the good goods”. A child’s name is lightly pencilled into the address area. As for the photo, “Kakabeka Falls is a waterfall on the Kaministiquia River, located beside the village of Kakabeka Falls in the municipality of Oliver Paipoonge, Ontario, 30 km west of the city of Thunder Bay.” That’s from Wikipedia. Unused card 50468-D. We were curious, so a little internet research told us the clock was created in 1957 from things like bicycle chains and an old movie projector. After some bumps in the road and relocation, it still exists. Grade: 1
