This Photoglob card 7007w was mailed in 1986 with two stamps and full Zermatt postmark. It’s a great example for a Matterhorn card. Grade: 1

Mailed in October, 1947 with stamp and full postmark, the card was forwarded from one Australian address to another … and there’s an inked notation that it was answered in December, 1948. If that’s true, then there’s hope for all of us who are patiently waiting for answers to all of life’s questions. Grade: 3

Mailed in 1904 from England with stamp and full postmark, the painting from which this card takes its picture was painted by Baness, and the card is part of “The ‘Artist’ Series”. Extraordinarily clear for the age. Grade: 3

Mailed in 2011, the postmark is crystal clear on the front of the card but the two stamps on the reverse were cancelled only by orange postal barcoding. Owing to the card’s generally great condition, we are bending our grading standards and calling it Grade: 2

Possibly a souvenir ticket pressed into service as a postcard also, this ~4-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ item has a serial number on the back and a tiny oval hole punched through–like a ticket. Issued in Switzerland, the card was however mailed in the USA with three stamps and Houston postmark. Grade (we think): 3

The German caption is a little more detailed than the French or English ones. The card, though, was mailed from Spain (not Switzerland!) in 2012 with two different stamps but illegible postmark. Grade: 3

We think this B&W real photo card was mailed in 1955. It’s a full Matterhorn postmark but the stamp (also of a mountain and gondola) partly obscures the date. Serrated edges. Purple “Luftpost” and “Par Avion” chop. Grade: 2

Zermatt, Findeln u. Matterhorn
Here’s the story: this card has two stamps and a Matterhorn postmark (and abrasions and adjustments on both sides) and was mailed from Switzerland to the Belgian Congo, where another large postmark was appended and the card was forwarded on somewhere else. Absolutely international. Grade: 3
