Unused card K-2844 from Delaware Candy & Tobacco Service (let’s assume at least that name has been changed by now, if not more) in the 1960s. At the time, the card says this bridge was the third longest in the world. Now? Not sure. Grade: 1

Annapolis, Main Street
Larger (4-5/8″ x 6-3/4″) card, mailed in 1999 to Hong Kong using an affixed postage meter label. The front looks OK apart from one dent; the reverse is frankly a mess but the writer had fun preparing it. Grade: 5

Grantsville, Holiday Inn
Somebody stayed here and grabbed a handful of cards, so we wound up with eight of them. Six are unused and fine (Grade: 1, $1.50). One is heavily aged on the reverse (Grade: 3, $1). One has an ink scribble across the back (Grade: 4, .50).

Edgewood, Invitation Inn
This unused 3.5″ x 8.7″ card has survived years of handling with only minor corner creases and if you buy it we will do our best to be certain it doesn’t get any worse. Grade: 2

Originally the summer home of Dr. and Mrs. Howard A. Kelly. We were curious, so we Googled him. He was an accomplished gynecologist. And Liriodendron is also called the tulip tree, though it has nothing to do with tulips. But Dr. Kelly may have had a sense of humor. Unused card. Grade: 1

Unused card of the U.S. Army Ordnance Center and School, with Chesapeake Bay visible in the background. A little bit unusual in the production of the card since it incorporates the edge of the filmstrip on the left edge of the card. That could not have been intentional but they printed it anyway.
