Scene on Mullet (sic) Lake, near Cheboygan, Mich.
Unused C.T. American Art Colored card 120685. We suppose the good folk of Cheboygan MI and Sheboygan WI get a lot of each other’s mail? By the way, Mullet Lake should be spelled with two “t’s”, named after John Mullett who surveyed the area, though to be fair, Wikipedia does say the lake has had variations of this spelling historically. And that’s all we are going to say about that. Grade: 2
-

Ann Arbor, Prekete’s Brothers Sugar Bowl
Modestly calling itself “One of America’s finest restaurants,” this establishment opened in 1911 and closed in 1967. The linen card was mailed in what looks like 1958 (2-cent stamp, and part of the postmark), and there is some smudging caused by water that does not affect the front. The writer clearly didn’t enjoy his meal or experience there, but we don’t think the restaurant closed because of that. Grade: 3
