Dunseith, Peace Tower
This unused card is strange for at least two reasons. First, the extensive and florid caption does not say where the tower is (was). And there’s your clue to reason #2: though only built in 1982, the tower was demolished in 2017. Seems as though the concrete was deteriorating, and anyway there were plans for something different. As far as we know now, the USA and Canada are still at peace, though. Grade: 1

Underwood, Coal Creek Station
Safe to say we will not be opening a new theme category called “power plant postcards”, but if we did, this would take pride of place. Unused card, whose caption is remarkably detailed for being so short. Grade: 1

Fort Lincoln State Park
If we assume this structure is the same as the one on our entry 10135005, can you spot the main difference? Unused card of this U.S. Army post used by Gen. George Custer. Grade: 1

Grand Forks, fishing under bridge
Mailed in 2020 with Global Forever round stamp, and postmark. This is the Great Northern Railroad Bridge, though the card focuses on fishing. Grade: 1

Minot Air Force Base
The main entrance gate to the base, on this unused postcard. We will counter that slogan with a bumper sticker we used to see when we lived in nearby Grand Forks (three times!) many years ago: “40 Below Keeps the Riff-Raff Away”. It does indeed. Grade: 1
