Tulsa, “One of the world’s most beautiful Churches”
Sometimes captions are useful, and sometimes not, which is the case here. We’ll repeat it verbatim: “One of the world’s most beautiful Churches, located at 13 Boston Ave., Tulsa, Okla.” We were curious, so did the search, and can tell you that it’s the Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, and it’s address is actually 1301 S. Boston Ave. (We live to serve.) Unused, aging card. Grade: 2

McAlester, Cassada Clothing, May 1912 calendar
Cassada actually lives on as a clothing brand name, online at least, though the McAlester store itself is long gone. Its memory survives in this brilliant, ancient ad card whose calendar is unfortunately positioned behind a field of flowers. Mailed in May of 1912 with stamp and complete postmark, this is about as good as advertising postcards get. Grade: 1
