Unused Stel-Mar card 134479 (and A-22) from the 1970s, though as the reverse caption points out, time and modern methods are irrelevant here. Two of these cards are available, each one being Grade: 2
-
Dutch Country pick-up baler
At the time (1970s), there must have been a feeling that sign had to be in every postcard or the card would not sell. That may have been true, since all the cards looked about the same. This unused Stel-Mar card 134162 (and A-12) does however show a “modern pick-up baler” which we guess would not be pulled by horses if it was in some other part of the country. Grade: 1

All the elements of a collectible postcard are sure on this one. It was mailed in 1971 with a 6-cent stamp but the postmark is not legible. Grade: 2

The reverse caption says “We’re going to be your favorite hotel,” and for all we know it’s a great place to stay (or was), but the card itself is devoid of people and makes the place look as bleak as a prison camp. By now they must have sorted that out. One would hope. Grades: 1
