-
Graceland, Elvis Presley
Well, many people have, but we haven’t. This card was mailed from Memphis in 1995. It has a 40-cent stamp and mostly legible postmark, then on top of all that is a pink postage meter, also from Memphis, with more postage. Card has normal edge abrasions for having been mailed internationally. Grade: 2
-
Knoxville, 1982 World’s Fair
Maybe not what you’re expecting. This 1982 souvenir card was brought to Malaysia, then mailed domestically in roughly 1990 (postmark is clear but the year never would have been) with a Malaysian stamp as a contest entry. Some postmark smudging on the front. Grade: 3
-

-
Nashville, Tomb of President James Polk, Capitol Hill
This unused Kropp Co. card 5991 of the early president, who is said to have died from chronic diarrhea, is a little misleading. The front caption, as you see, says “Capitol Hill.” True, but it’s the Tennessee state capitol, not the federal capitol. Grade: 2
-

Actually Emerald Falls, dropping out of a crevice 700′ inside Craighead Caverns. The card’s caption says that The Lost Sea is the “world’s largest underground lake,” and we wonder if that’s still the case so many years later? Unused Plastichrome card P65655. Grade: 2

Unused Color King card 11044 (GS-16) dated 1955. The card says these upper and lower falls are “the most accessible of all the waterfalls” in the Park. Grade: 1
-
Fall Creek Falls State Park
The waterfall, at 256′ high, is 100′ higher than Niagara and “the highest waterfall east of the Rockies”. As we have been entering many cards of waterfalls, it seems like they all are higher than Niagara. Niagara has positioned itself very successfully! Unused Dexter Press card 30215-B. Grade: 1
