Cheyenne, Capitol Avenue “In Wonderful Wyoming”
This otherwise nice unused vintage postcard has been beaten up a bit, with a small tear along the top edge. The caption gives a trivia fact that postcards can be famous for: “Wyoming is one of the four states whose residents have no nickname.” Grade: 4

Unused Curteichcolor card 3DK-1236. Grade: 1

-
Yellowstone National Park, Riverside geyser
Unused. Grade: 1
-
Yellowstone National Park, Old Faithful
Among Wyoming postcards, we understand 100% that pictures of Old Faithful are not in short supply. Here’s an unused card at a cost not much more than retail, and this is a lot cheaper than actually going there to buy it. Case made. Grade: 1

Wapiti Valley, Little Goose Rock
First, let’s give you the entire caption on this unused card J1461: “The Little Goose Rock towers high above the Shoshone River near the Holy City in the beautiful Wapiti Valley along U.S. Highway 14 & 20 Road to Yellowstone National Park.” So far, so good. But Googling for more information led to no information whatsoever except for other postcards. We only have so much time we can give to each card, but what happened? Did Little Goose grow up and fly away? Grade: 1
-
Greetings from Newcastle, Bear Grass
Excellent example of an unused older E.C. Kropp generic card (Wild Flowers of the West, 18580N, or C-1002), this one describing Bear Grass as growing “in great abundance in Western Montana and Northern Idaho,” yet oddly, Newcastle (Wyoming) chose this design to represent itself. Go figure. Grade: 1
-
View from Sherman Hill, Lincoln Highway
What an odd caption (“The summit of the Rockies, over which passes Trans-continental railroad and highway, and air lines.” We will grant that this may have been the highest point on U.S. 30, as the card says.
