You wouldn’t really know from the front of the card, but this is an ad for Reader’s Digest, with Portuguese-language text filling the message and much of the address areas. Otherwise unused. Grade: 2

Mailed from Donetsk, an ad card … as far as we can tell, the legend says “Happy Pharmacist” but please don’t blame us if we’re wrong about that. Stamp and postmark are there. Grade: 2

Singapore Police Force
This was mailed in 2013. The large stamp is there, and so is a full postmark, though on the opposite side of the reverse. Interesting for its hi-tech approach to recruitment. Creased across upper left corner. Grade: 3

The legend translates as “Show solidarity with the red bow,” on this card mailed in 2013 with stamp, postmark, and trilingual Priority label. Grade: 1

Petrobras
For us, this is a mystery card in several ways. Petrobras is the national oil company of Brazil and the unused card seems to be an ad for them, possibly produced for the Brazilian market as the slogan on the back is only in Portuguese. As for the photo, we have no idea at all what’s going on there. Grade: 1

An advertising card from 2012, mailed in 2014 with stamp, illegible postmark, and Priority label. Grade: 1

Mailed in 2013, the stamp and a Priority label are there and the only reason we grade the card this way is because there’s no postmark. Grade: 4

This 5-1/8″ x 7-3/4″ card for a restaurant was mailed to local residents using Hongkong Post’s circular postal service (pre-printed in Chinese), and the card itself is fully printed on both sides. Grade: 1

A card measuring 5-7/8″ x 8-1/4″, mailed with (Chinese-language) Hongkong Post circular mail postage in 2016. Grade: 1

The Ritz-Carlton Residences/Singapore (Hong Kong card)
This 6″ x 8-1/4″ card was mailed locally in Hong Kong in 2016, promoting an exhibition for property in Singapore. Fully printed on both sides, and mailed using Hongkong Post’s pre-printed Circular Service postage. On the back, in the very finest of fine print, among other terms and conditions it says: “The Ritz-Carlton residences, Singapore, Cairnhill, are not owned, developed or sold by The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C., or its affiliates …” (To be fair, there is some sort of license agreement.) Grade: 1
