How Brazzaville’s post office looked at least in the mid-60s when this Hoa-Qui 3297 card was bought. Never mailed, unmarked, slightly aged reverse, and abrasions around the front edges. Grade: 3

Not sure of age but could be 1940s based on appearance of cars. Real photo, never mailed Photo Tropica antique postcard with noticeable abrasions around the edges only, and a small stain on lower right reverse. Grade: 4

Really the quintessential semi-contemporary (well, almost vintage) Singapore postcard, mailed from there in 1988 with two different stamps and full postmark. Grade: 1

Amphibious Bicycle (Greetings from Ireland)
Doesn’t seem like it would, but this card fits into several of our categories. Two similar cards are available. One is unused and has “Greetings from Ireland” in 13 languages on the reverse (Grade: 1, $4). The other must have been from a different print run, as it was mailed in 2013 with minimal caption, three stamps, partial postmark, blue Air Mail sticker, and orange postal bar coding, along with abrasion on upper right front (Grade: 4, $1).

This unused set of 12 glossy 5″ x 7-1/4″ cards in glossy cover represents a range of scenes around the city, though no casinos. The back of the cover has the original price sticker on it, and this can’t easily be removed. Grade: 1

Kronan bicycles are Swedish, originally made in Sweden but now in Poland. This postcard, though, is an internet card made and sold in Japan. And so this one was mailed from there, in 2012, with two stamps and faint postmark, along with trilingual airmail label. Grade: 1
