Mailed in 1963 with a 4-cent stamp and two postmarks, the card’s poignant message is if anything overshadowed by the history of the hotel itself. Jiangxi, Lu Shan (set of 10) – cover (PR China)
Mount Lu or Lushan, also known as Kuanglu in ancient times, is situated in the northern part of Jiangxi province in southeastern China, and is one of the most renowned mountains in the country. (Thanks to Wikipedia for this.) We offer a set of ten unused glossy cards from 1972, on a variety of themes associated with the mountain and surrounding area. See also entry 237800126B.
