Two sad business stories in one card (actually we have two of the unused cards). Western Pacific Airlines was famous for painting their jets in various logos, but the airline went bankrupt in 1998. As for the Stardust, it was demolished in March 2007. These two cards are notably aging, but at least they exist, unlike their namesakes. Grades: 2

Stateline, Harrah’s Club Lake Tahoe (Nevada)
Bear with us while we tell you the story. The club had an offer for its customers: “Place Postage Stamp Here, or Leave at the bar or premium booth for free mailing”. Conrad decided to take them up on that offer, and sent this card to a mushroom company asking for a free book of recipes. The hotel obliged, with a postage meter, in 1959. We hope he got his book. Grade: 1
-

-
Greetings from Las Vegas, The Hotel Flamingo Casino (Nevada)
Aging, vintage, unused H.S. Crocker card, unnumbered but old enough to date from a time when people dressed formally to go to Nevada casinos. That will give you a clue. Grade: 3

Unused Raphael Tuck “Oilette” card No. 110 from the Collection “Villes de France”. Grade: 2
-
Souvenir de Nice (folio of 17+1) – cover (Monte Carlo)
This is a little softcover folio of 17 cards with different scenes of Nice, in many ways similar to the cards we listed just before this: gardens, streets, and so on, all black & white, and we estimate from about 1919 or so. Plus, there is one more totally unrelated card bound in, teaching how to gamble in Monte Carlo (see 32700107BK). The folio is stapled, with left edges of the cards perforated. We honestly do not know whether the original set had just these 18 cards, or more. It looks complete, but no guarantees. Apart from the writing on the front cover, the back cover also has a name and address inked on, many years ago. The individual cards are unwritten. We will call this Grade: 3
-
Souvenir de Nice (folio of 17+1) – single Monte Carlo card
See 32700107AK. This instructional postcard is bound in with the other cards.
-
Las Vegas, Fremont Street
Mailed from Canada, the uncancelled C$1.85 stamp is worth almost twice the cost of the card. Just saying. Grade: 4

-
Las Vegas, Arizona Charlie’s Casino
If this is the Decatur property, the recent online reviews are mostly appalling. Wow! The card however is much nicer, mailed in 2014 with a round Global Forever Christmas stamp and postmark. Grade: 1
-
Asuncion, Hotel Casino Ita Enramada (Paraguay)
About the hotel: it has an Asuncion address, but looking at the picture it is (or was) quite far from town. And even now it has so few online reviews. We are curious. The unused older A.G.M. card 97 is not bad, a little brown with age on the reverse but otherwise quite O.K. Grade: 1
-
