Victor Chizhikov cat drawing (Russia)
On the back of this card, mailed from St. Petersburg in 2013, there’s a captioned poem about helping each other, and selfishness. Well, OK. We don’t quite “get” the drawing but please don’t hold that against us! Stamp, postmark, annd red rubber-stamped marking also. Grade: 3
-
Curiosity (Ukraine)
This may be an internet card, but it’s sturdy and was mailed from Ukraine in 2013 with four different stamps, two postmarks, and blue Par Avion label. Those kitties do look like brothers and sisters, don’t they? Grade: 2
-
Lass dich bloß nicht stressen! (Germany)
Google Translate helps only marginally when it says this means “Do not stress you only!” but we get the idea. Card was mailed with a stamp that did not get postmarked. Grade: 4
-
Cat and Dog (3D)
An internet 3D card, and the scan looks like this because the view is either of a dog or a cat, depending on your perspective with the lenticular printing. Mailed from Japan in 2013 with two stamps and postmark. Grade: 1

Mysterious Cats (PR China) – stamp collection, not postcards
As a rule we like to stick with postcards, but once in awhile something remarkable pops up and we list it. China National Philatelic issued this softcover book (the book is red; what you mostly see in the scan is the decorative outer cardboard sleeve) measuring 8-3/8″ x 11-3/8″ x about 1/4″ with 12 highly coloured and decorated pages, bilingual text in Chinese and English, holding two first-day covers (2013) as well as mint stamp blocks of some of the most winsome cats and kittens you will ever see. To be honest, if you are really a cat lover–or need to give a gift to one–you can’t possibly do better than this. Special postage rate applies, please ask us. Grade: 1
-
Spiritual Cats Bring Blessing (set) – cover (PR China)
First, have a look at our item 32800152, which has no postcards, then see what we have to say about this companion item: large, heavy, hardcover set in a cardboard sleeve, all measuring 10-5/8″ x 10-3/8″ x 3/4″ and issued by Guangdong Philatelic. Here we go: including inner front and back cover, there are 14 facings (6 pages/leaves), extensive text in Chinese but all breeds of cat are identified in English. Some pages have mint stamp sheets, some have uncancelled covers, and there are four postcards like maximum cards but without the postmarks. See 32800153B for a sample page with a card. We have three of these sets. Grades: 1
-

-
Cats – National Philatelic Exhibition 1995 (Maximum Cards) (Thailand) (set)

We’re not even going to begin to try to explain this. If you’re interested to buy, you already know. Mailed from China in 2013 with a large stamp, and postmark. Minor postal creasing. And, yes, there is a cat. Look closely. Grade: 2
