-
Prince Edward Island, Fishing on the Bonshaw River (Canada)
Unused Photogelatine Engraving Co. card 77. Grade: 1
-
Greetings from Nova Scotia, fishing boat (Canada)
This card we think sets a record for fitting into the greatest number of different categories on this website: Canada, fishing, greetings, lighthouse, and boat. But that’s mostly for our amusement, not yours. It was mailed in 1959. The postmark is there, but the stamp is gone. This pushes the grade down to Grade: 4
-
Fishermans Wharf, San Francisco
Mailed in the 1970s, with stamp and postmark. Grade: 1
-
Multiple views, and fishing (Finland)
Mailed in 2011 with three different stamps, illegible postmark, and blue Priority label affixed. Grade: 2

-
Alles Bestens!
This unused card is from Austria, and if we choose Google Translate as our source, the English version from German is: “All Best! Bite in and you”. We need another source … Grade: 1
-
Tarpon caught on the Gulf Coast (Louisiana, USA)
A card for all categories, making it valuable for us and valuable for you. Unused E.C. Kropp postcard no. 32594N, with the view in each letter identified on the reverse caption. In this case, the first “I”. Grade: 1
-
The Florida Keys
This 5″ x 7″ card was mailed from the USA in 2012 and has an (uncancelled) $1.05 stamp, though there is USPS postal barcoding below. Very minor postal creasing. Grade: 4
-
The King of Speckled Beauties (Canada)
Clearly a card treasured by a family over many, many years. Not postally used, but with a short pencilled message on the back, the card has been heavily handled and is not in great condition. Grade: 5
-
Fishing at Sunset (Finland)
Nice card, nice condition. Three stamps, Priority label, and readable postmark. Grade: 1
-
Fishing boat, Belitung (Indonesia)
Unused card. Grade: 1
-
Look! What a Peach I Landed–and How!
Mailed in 1958 from Canada. The postmark is there, the stamp is not, and there’s extra writing on the front. Grade: 5
-
They are biting well here (USA)
Two of these unused Metrocraft cards are available. The fronts are OK; the reverses have aged irregularly and just look tired. Grades: 3
-
Gloucester Harbor fishing fleet, United Airlines menu
Not everyone shares our sense of humor, but the photo on this United Airlines menu is of a fishing fleet, and the caption on the reverse says “The fishing fleet … provide a tempting variety of delicious sea foods for United Mainliner menus.” And what’s on this menu? Beef! Potatoes! Peas! Cherry Chocolate Roll! But not a shred of seafood. Unused card. Grade: 1
-

Unused linen Curteich-Chicago “C.T. Art-Colortone” card 9A-H2245 (and S-480) in superb condition for its age. Grade: 1
-

Card made in, and mailed from, Belarus in 2012, with three stamps, two faint postmarks, and a small numbered sticker on the back. We confess to not quite “getting” the humour. Grade: 3
-
Ontario, Canada
Unused 4-3/4″ x 6-5/8″ card. Spot the fishermen! Grade: 1
-
Laguna Madre, Fishing at Sunset (Texas)
The best thing to be said about this Dexter Press card is that it’s unused. Grade: 5

Greetings from The Ozarks, Trout Fishing (USA)
Well, The Ozarks span more than one state and this large letter card doesn’t specifically identify either of them (though we know it’s Missouri) so maybe the sender had the right idea when she mailed it from Michigan in 1957 with stamp and postmark. Grade: 2
-
Anchorage Air Tours
Unused, contemporary card of a vintage sign. Grade: 1
-
Never saw a man who could fish and worry
Unused Mike Roberts card C12290. Grade: 1

Too Busy to Write (USA)
Somehow it’s harder to find unused versions of this type of card. But this one is unused: E.C. Kropp 11927-Wis.33, sub-captioned “The Time Saving POST CARD For Busy Folks”. Spooning? Grade: 2
-
Greetings from Waupaca, “Come! Gamey Beauties Waiting Here” (Wisconsin, USA)
We would like it if the good folks of Waupaca would band together and buy this unused E.C. Kropp card 4644W23. It has little sections of smudge and stain on the back, we suppose from having been carried in a tackle box. Grade: 2
-
Greetings from Waupaca, “A Man’s Job” (Wisconsin)
Unused card, a companion to the previous one. Grade: 2
-
“When Goodfellows Get Together” (USA)
E.C. Kropp card 16080. In 1948, Matthew wrote to his dad, questioning a fish story … we hope they sorted that out. Here’s the strange thing: because the names are unusual, it’s easy to go to Google, and find Matthew, and if we wanted to, we could ask him. But we’re not stalkers! Stamp and Oregon postmark are there. Grade: 1
-
Greetings from Tishomingo, A Fisherman’s Paradise (Oklahoma, USA)
Tishomingo may not be large, and it may be remote, but some famous people come from there. And there’s even another Tishomingo, in another state, so we have a lot to learn. The postcard is unremarkable, however. Not postally used, and with writing on the bottom of the front. Grade: 4
-
Belgisch Zeestrand – Visscherstijpe (Belgium)
Is this not a great character study? Unused, aged card. Grade: 2
