Dubai, Opening Celebration of Burj Khalifa
As we type this, Hong Kong has five of the world’s 21 tallest buildings, and Burj Khalifa in Dubai is almost exactly twice the height of the tallest one (ICC) in Hong Kong. We look out the window at ICC and wonder, how could Dubai manage this? But of course, they did! Unused card. Grade: 1

Three of these informative internet cards are available, two from 2012 and one from 2013. One of 2012 is fully postmarked over an Olympics A$1.60 stamp, and has orange postal barcoding on both sides (Grade: 2, $3). The other of 2012 has the same stamp but it was not cancelled, and there’s a large Air Mail label (Grade: 4, $3). The 2013 card has stamp, postmark, and orange postal barcoding on both sides (Grade: 3, $2).

Unused 4-3/4″ x 6-3/4″ card. Thaipusam is an unusually colourful Hindu festival near the beginning of each year, and Batu Caves are a short ride north of Kuala Lumpur. Visitors need to be prepared for crowds, unusual sights, and everything that goes along with these. Grade: 1

Believe it or not, it’s relatively unusual to find map cards of the entire USA. This one was mailed from Washington state in 2012 with three different stamps and partly legible postmark. Grade: 1
