  • Knoxville, I (heart) The 1982 World’s Fair (Tennessee, USA)

Totally different circumstances from the other Knoxville World’s Fair card we’ve listed (10143004), this one is also special because it’s 20-cent stamped, maximum-card style but on the reverse, with an Oct. 3, 1982 World’s Fair postmark.  Otherwise unused.  If you’re a collector of World’s Fair postcards, this one should qualify well for you.  Grade: 1

    Price: $1.00

    (Heart) Formosa Taiwan
  • I love (heart) Albania

Showing Kruja and Berati (captioned), and (uncaptioned) Gjirokaster’s castle on the lower left.  If someone has only one day in Albania and wants to see a place outside Tirana, Kruja is the very best choice.  You drive past a statue of former U.S. President George W. Bush along the way.  And, yes, we are gently stretching our definition of “I (heart)” postcards because we think this should qualify.  Unused Aeditions card 1051.  Grade: 1

    Code: 33700099

    Price: $4.00

    I love (heart) Albania
  • I love (heart) Albania, multiple views

    I love (heart) Albania
  • Dubrovnik (Croatia)

Unused card measuring roughly 6-1/2″x 4-3/4″ and cut in the shape you can see.  This comes as close as possible to being an “I (heart) ____” postcard without actually being one.  But we are stretching the definition, for now.  Grade: 1

    Code: 33700102

    Price: $3.00

    Dubrovnik (Croatia)
  • I (heart) Istanbul (set of 7)

These seven extremely sturdy, unused cards are in their original cellowrap packaging.  Our scan shows you the reverse sheet with thumbnails of the seven cards.  The front is just one of the cards.  Grade: 1

    Code: 33700103

    Price: $16.00

I (heart) Istanbul (set of 7)
  • We (heart) Macau

Unused card still in its original cellowrap.  And a bit unusual, for saying “We” instead of “I”.  We want to make it clear that the “Macau” sticker on the upper right is part of the wrapper, not a stamp, and not on the postcard.  Grade: 1

    Code: 33700104

    Price: $4.00

    We (heart) Macau
  • I (heart) Macau

Unused card still in its original cellowrap.  We want to make it clear that the “Macau” sticker on the upper right is part of the wrapper, not a stamp, and not on the postcard.  Grade: 1

    Price: $4.00

    I (heart) Macau

    Price: $3.00

    I (heart) Grenada

    Price: $1.00

    I (heart) Missouri (USA)
  • I (heart) Kumamoto (Japan) (3D)

    Price: $2.00

    I (heart) Serbia
  • I (heart) KH (Kaohsiung, Taiwan)

The ultimate novelty postcard is unique in design and impossible to scan clearly, sorry.  Most of those design elements look like punch-outs but the orange oval at the bottom is either pottery or some other hard, raised material.  We can’t say because this card is still in its original cellowrap.  The reverse has Chinese-only captioning, and more information (and a QR Code) on a separate strip.  Complicated!  Grade: 1

    Code: 33700114

    Price: $7.00

    I (heart) KH (Kaohsiung, Taiwan)
  • Ich hab mein (heart) in Heidelberg verloren (Germany)

Close enough to an “I (heart)” postcard, our German source translates this as “I lost my heart in Heidelberg.”  One thing to point out clearly:  it was mailed using two different USA stamps because the writers were in Germany, but through U.S. military postal facilities there.  The postmark reflects this.  Grade: 1

    Code: 33700115

    Price: $2.00

Ich hab mein (heart) in Heidelberg verloren (Germany)
  • From Iowa … with love

Unused card dated 1981.  Minor aging.  Yes, we know, but we consider this still to be qualified for the “I (heart)” category.  Grade: 1

    Code: 33700116

    Price: $1.00

    From Iowa … with love
  • I Luv Maui (Hawaii)

Mailed in 1984, with 20-cent stamp and Honolulu postmark.  The card has a small black spot on the top front near the mountain peak, and a stain on the lower left reverse corner.  All that notwithstanding, Joey was having a great time for sure.  Grade: 3

    Code: 33700117

    Price: $1.00

    I Luv Maui (Hawaii)
  • Gruezi Schweiz (Switzerland)

  • I (heart) Ballooning (USA)
