It’s a map, and beyond that we have no idea. The card is unmailed, but heavily aged and creased, with some very old tape on the reverse. Grade: 4

Many years ago it might have been possible to find cards from China mailed in the USA, but with the world as it is now … this card was mailed from China, with two large stamps and Hangzhou postmark. Grade: 3

Mailed in 2010, the card has a stamp, full postmark, and bilingual Priority sticker affixed. There’s also a tiny sticker of the cartoon character Woodstock on the reverse. It doesn’t detract from anything. We all deserve to get nice cards like this from time to time. Grade: 2

Holiday Inn Sports Center, Denver
It’s been awhile since we stayed in a Holiday Inn and we’re not sure if they still let their properties choose generic intercontinental postcards cards like this. The front as you see could be from anywhere, but the reverse of the two unused cards we have gives details of the unit at the Denver Sports Center. Holiday Inn postcards unite! Grades: 1

The front of this card is perfect. The back is perfect, too; just very busy with a bilingual blue Aerphost and address sticker, and two uncancelled stamps totalling E1.60. Grade: 4

2010 International Flora Expo (Taiwan)
You may have a hard time finding another card like this. Mailed in 2011, with two stamps and postmark on the front, it’s in the shape of the island of Taiwan. Whether or not it was ever meant to be a postcard, it functioned brilliantly as one. We love it! Grade: 1
