Issued by the Hong Kong Police Force Museum in 2014, our scan shows the cardboard cover and one card from this 10-card B&W unused set. Thumbnail photos on the cover represent parts of the other nine cards. Everything is from the old days, various usual neighbourhood police activities. Grade: 1

Ouro Preto – MG – Museu da Inconfidencia (Brazil)
Wikipedia tells us that “Museu da Inconfidência is a history museum dedicated to those who died in a failed rebellion movement Inconfidência Mineira for Brazilian independence from Portugal. It was established in 1938. It is located in Tiradentes Square in Ouro Preto in Minas Gerais in a former Jail. It was declared as a National Museum of Brazil in 1990.” The unused card is newer than that, though. Grade: 1

Petropolis – RJ – Alberto Santos Dumont’s House (Brazil)
Santos-Dumont was an aviation pioneer, the “Father of Flight” in Brazil though he lived much of the time in Paris. The card was mailed in 1981 with three stamps and all or part of three large postmarks. Despite the effects of age, still Grade: 1

The 1928 card says “Ramesay” but contemporary usage for this museum is “Ramezay”. Mailed, with 2-cent stamp and postmark, and what looks like some water staining around the edges. Grade: 3

Unused old card, not too inspiring, with left perforated edge. Heavily aged. Grade: 2

Kaunas, multiple views (Lithuania)
Mailed in 2013 with stamp, postmark, and bilingual Prioritaire label. Views apart frpom the city include the Military Museum, Freedom Monument, and a sculpture entitled “‘Sacrifice’ to the Lithuanian freedom fighters”. Grade: 1

Issued in 1985, Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telegrafos, this Maximum Card is unused and with serial number 011342 on the reverse. Slight aging. Grade: 2

We shamefully admit our research resources sometimes vanish while we enter cards, and this is one such case. If you read Chinese, there’s an extensive story on the back cover of the set, to explain everything. We have two similar but not identical sets available (see also our entry 34400385), with one focusing on “chops” and the other on art and calligraphy. Scan #34400384 shows the front of the cover (lower left) and two sample cards from the set of 10–all unused. Scan #34400385 does the same for the other set. Cost is per set. Take both for $20.
