Search engines lead you around in circles on this B&W card. The Cairo Postcard Trust issued it in different “Serie” but this one is marked on the reverse as “SER E” (Serie) 599. The card’s index number is 61871. As with all the cards we have of this Egyptian vintage, this was not postally used and has a message on the reverse. Grade: 4

A card for many categories, mailed in 2011 with coloured E0.82 metered postage label, Priority label, and a Santa Claus sticker. Apart from the bar, it also shows Kilkenny Castle (from the 12th century) and Jerpoint Abbey. Someone has also rubber-stamped the logo of a fish on the reverse. Very busy. Grade: 4

A nice, domestic card whose centre section is raised as a sort of laminated addition. Mailed in 2012 with three stamps and two full postmarks, the English portion of the bilingual caption says: “Minsk. The area at a town hall with a kind on the Cathedral of St. Mary.” Grade: 1

Brașov, Catedrala Ortodoxa Adormirea Maicii Domnului (Romania)
Catedrala Ortodoxa Adormirea Maicii Domnului (a.k.a. Orthodox Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary) is on the north side of Piata Sfatului. The cathedral was built in 1896, when restrictions on Romanians entering Brașov citadel were lifted. It’s an unused postcard, and on the back, “I (heart) Transylvania”. Grade: 1

Very old, unused and unattributed but also very heavily aged card, especially on the reverse. There’s no specific “damage” but this Mormon Temple postcard is definitely showing its age. Grade: 4
