  • South Padre Island, shells (Texas, USA)

Though the caption on this unused card calls that location a “shellhunter’s delight,” we might not be so generous but then again all we have is this card for reference.  It’s unused.  The front is fine; the reverse is aging and somewhat foxed.  Grade: 3

    Code: 38700041

    Price: $1.00

South Padre Island, shells (Texas, USA)
  • Beautiful Sea Shells (Texas, USA)

Unused older card, serrated edges and the bottom edge has an almost imperceptible nick in it.  These shells are (were?) to be found along the Texas Gulf Coast.  Grade: 3

    Code: 38700042

    Price: $1.00

    Beautiful Sea Shells (Texas, USA)
  • Molluscs (set of 4) (Maximum Cards) (DPR Korea)

Set of four maximum cards from 2002.  Captions on the reverses are in Korean.  The scientific names are on the stamps.  Grade: 1

    Code: 38700043

    Price: $20.00

Molluscs (set of 4) (Maximum Cards) (DPR Korea)
  • Shells of Southwest Florida (USA)

The pictured shells may not be too special (an understatement) but this unused Dexter Press card G-17 (15 x 87571-C) with serrated edges had the good sense to identify them all in the caption on the reverse.  That helps!  Grade: 1

    Code: 38700044

    Price: $1.00

    Shells of Southwest Florida (USA)
  • Gifts from the Gulf

Unused Plastichrome card P319190 originating in Texas.   Grade: 1

    Code: 38700045

    Price: $1.00

    Gifts from the Gulf
  • Seashells (USA)

Because this is a divided back card, we’re left guessing why the design is what it is:  suggesting space to write a message on the front.  But the writer chose the back instead, and stamped it, but we also won’t know if it was mailed or not because there’s no postmark.  And we can’t ask Rosa.  Grade: 3

    Code: 38700046

    Price: $2.00
